Nari is a Pennsylvania native who relocated to Florida to attend graduate school at Florida State University. She is now a teaching faculty member at FSU in addition to being in private practice as a licensed marriage and family therapist. In her practice she helps couples restore their intimacy, learn conflict management skills, and heal from infidelity. Nari is married to her husband Danny and they have two children together.

About Us

Nari and Jenna became friends in 2016 when Jenna joined the faculty in the department of Human Development and Family Sciences at Florida State University. Together, they redesigned a Family Relationships course, worked on committees, and would often chit chat between their classes. They discussed the trends they see in their private practices, and noticed that couples had similar relationship challenges.

In 2022, after leaving the academic world, Jenna approached Nari about teaching outside of the classroom, and asked Nari if she’d be interested in creating courses that address some of the common issues they see in couples therapy. They knew their was a greater need in the community for couples resources. Nari said “absolutely” and they began building the business. Together, they have big dreams for Coupled!

Aside from working on Coupled, they bond over a love of coffee, interior design and fashion, parenting, and self-care practices! They also may or may not vent about their own relationship struggles from time to time...

We are on a mission

to help couples improve their
relationships and to reduce
the stigma of getting help
for your marriage.
